At Amauizon, we work with botanicals grown at Karuna Miracle Gardens on Maui alongside carefully selected plants and extracts sourced from trusted traditional growing regions.

We formulate in small batches and work across tinctures, botanical extracts, teas, dried botanicals, custom botanical blends, and practitioner or bulk ingredients.

From Garden to Formula

Grow

At Karuna Miracle Gardens, botanicals are tended by hand on Maui. What we can grow here begins in the garden.

Harvest

Plants are gathered with attention to season, freshness, and the part of the botanical being used.

Dry & Preserve

Fresh botanicals are dried, preserved, or prepared according to the form they will eventually take.

Extract

We work with traditional preparations and concentrated botanical extracts, choosing the form according to the plant and intended formulation.

Formulate

The final blend is developed in conversation — botanical selection, format, quantity, sourcing, and timing considered together.

Our Working Apothecary

The Freshness Standard

We believe botanical freshness matters. Our working apothecary is organized around botanicals held in different freshness windows, with priority given to recently harvested and recently received plant material. We do not want herbs sitting indefinitely on a shelf. As botanicals age, we evaluate whether they should remain as dried material, be prepared into an extract or tincture, or leave the commercial inventory altogether.

Some of our botanicals begin at Karuna Miracle Gardens on Maui. Others come through trusted sourcing relationships in traditional growing regions when the plant cannot yet be cultivated here in the quality or quantity we require.

The point is not to make every plant come from one place. The point is to know where it came from, how it was handled, and why it belongs in the formulation.
